What is Fooocus?
Fooocus is a free and open-source text-to-image generation tool. Like Stable Diffusion or Midjourney, it uses AI to create images based on your text descriptions (prompts).
- Focus on ease of use: Fooocus aims to be more user-friendly than other image generation tools. It automates many settings, letting you focus on writing great prompts and exploring the results.
- Offline capability: A key feature is that it can run offline on your own computer, giving you more control and privacy compared to web-based tools.
How to install Fooocus

Minimal Requirement
Note that the minimal requirement is 4GB Nvidia GPU memory (4GB VRAM) and 8GB system memory (8GB RAM). full list of minimum requirements
You can directly download Fooocus with:
Unzip the downloaded file. Now we will have 3 launchers run.bat, run_anime.bat, run_realistic.bat,they are different model presets:
Run the bat file. ( the first time you launch the software, it will automatically download models ):
When you see this interface in your browser, it means your installation is successful.
After entering a simple prompt, then click "generate" button, a stunning picture will be generated immediately:
